Service, integrity, and independence aren’t just ideas in my campaign—they come from my upbringing and values.
I come from a family shaped by public service and a belief that freedom requires responsibility.
My family’s roots trace back to early American history and the Revolutionary War era, including documented service during the 1777 Saratoga Campaign. Family members served in the Continental Army, including Benjamin Collamer Jr., who was part of the 1777 campaign and engaged in the Saratoga operations. Anthony Collamer III also enlisted in 1777 in Captain Winslow’s Company of the 10th Massachusetts Regiment, seeing action at Fort Ticonderoga and during the Saratoga Campaign.
I am also a descendant of Jacob Collamer, a Vermont statesman known for his integrity, principled leadership, and commitment to the rule of law. He served as a Vermont Supreme Court Justice, U.S. Senator, and Postmaster General under President Zachary Taylor, and was widely respected for his fairness and wisdom. He earned the nickname “The Green Mountain Socrates.”
But this section isn’t just about history—it’s about values.
That tradition of service, accountability, sacrifice, and putting people first shapes how I see leadership today. It is why I believe in clean government, transparency, and leadership that serves the people—not controls them.
Colorado deserves leaders who serve the people—not rule over them.
A practical plan to restore opportunity, strengthen communities, and build a Colorado that works for everyone — not just a few.
This commitment is for working families, young people, small businesses, rural communities, and urban neighborhoods across Colorado.
It is for Democrats, Republicans, Independents — and everyone who believes government should deliver real results, not endless division.
No party agendas. No political games. Just practical solutions that improve life for Coloradans.

These are not abstract policies — they are practical steps to improve everyday life in Colorado.

More affordable housing means families can stay in Colorado.
Lower energy costs mean real relief for working people.
This isn’t ideology — it’s results.
A government that listens.
A government that acts.
A government that delivers.
